DR K broadcasts the first episode of “De Uartige Kalkmalerier” (The Naughty Church Frescos) on Tuesday the 10th of November at 10.30 PM. The Middle Ages was not as dark and boring, as many people may think. Art historian Peter Kær and historian Torben Svendrup tour the Danish churches to have a closer look at old church frescos with motifs focusing on sex, drinking, and satire.
