Today Monday Media purchased the majority of the production company Norsk Fjernsyn, who among other things are behind the comedy show Karl Johan for NRK1 as well as a long list of series and documentaries for TV 2, VGTV, etc.
The core behind Norsk Fjernsyn consists of the four TV producers Tommy Gulliksen, Hans Lucas Hansen, Jørgen Høst and Erik Solbakken. The latter is also a host of programmes such as Karl Johan and a variety of bigger events including the Eurovision Song Contest when it was held in Oslo in 2010. The four founders will remain minority owners.

At the end of last year, Monday also purchased the Norwegian production company Storyteller and the CEO for Monday Production AS in Norway, Lasse Hallberg, has big expectations for the Norwegian venture.

Monday was founded in Denmark in 2008 and have since evolved to one of Scandinavia’s largest independent production companies with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. In Norway, Monday has been behind all sport productions for C More since 2013.
