As of today, Monday Media ApS has acquired Grif Film Aps who is known for producing comedy series for TV, including “Tung Metal” and “Hvor fanden er Herning?”.
”At Monday we want more fiction and comedy, and it is only natural operating part of that setup via Grif Film who simply can do things we cannot. And when Grif Film wanted to be part of a larger setup with the advantages that brings to the table, the way was paved,” says CEO of Monday, Morten Bank.
Grif Film, which was established by Nikolaj Peyk and Wadt Thomsen in 2008, continues as a company and an independent brand with the founders as the creative driving forces.
“We are immensely proud of the results that we have created as independents, but we also need to acknowledge that operating a company is not always compatible with being creative. Monday is much better at doing that and this collaboration gives us the opportunity to do what we do best – develop and produce,” says Nikolaj Peyk and Wadt Thomas.
